Welcome to the November link up for Mindful Moments.

Firstly, I’d like to say thank you to everyone who participated in the first months post: Ready For Launch. There were seven posts linked up, and there was such variety shared, including one piece of artwork.

In the spirit of gratitude the theme for November will be Giving Thanks.

Given the title of the blog it is, perhaps, understandable that I would choose the American holiday of Thanksgiving. This year the holiday falls on November 26th, and if you would like to learn a little bit more about it you can look here. My understanding is that it is a more exuberant celebration of the harvest than I have ever seen in the UK. (Though the schools do hold some fabulous services over here!)

As the UK enters a second lockdown and the world continues to battle on in the face of a global pandemic I wonder what sparkles there will be. Certainly, for many, the outlook is seeming a little bleak, but surely there will be some sparkles? I look forward to seeing what interesting things people are giving thanks for this month.

But that’s not all.

For me this space is as much about having somewhere to come back to and reflect on the silver linings when times are challenging. Hopefully we can make it into a treasure trove of positivity? A gratitude journal for us all to share and benefit from.

Check out the instructions on how to join here, use the badge and use #MindfulMoments on twitter.
